Anybody who is reasonably active should be able to take part in and enjoy our tours. We offer a range of tours requiring different levels of physical exertion (and all of them comes with a backup minibus!), so people of all shapes and sizes will be able to find a tour that suits them. However, a little cycling experience before a tour will always come in handy, and we recommend anyone who does not regularly exercise to consult their doctor before joining a tour involving physical activities.
All meals and accommodation will be provided as part of the tour. If you happen to have some free time before or after the tour, there is a huge range of options to choose from for both food and lodging.
Yes, but we highly recommend that you use the bikes we provide at the cost of USD20 per day, which are Rikulau cromoly flatbar road bikes valued at USD1,200 to 1,300. Another option is to bring your own saddle and/or peddles to fit to our bikes, and backup bikes are always available should your own bike breaks down.
Usually yes, but it may be limited due to itinerary constraints.
If you bring your own bike, please prepare your own saddle bags, water bottles, lights, mini pump, and inner tubes of your tire size. Also, please advise us if you are using tubeless tires.
Any of the above can also be purchased in Taiwan should you choose to do so.
The size or our tour groups are range from 6 to 16 people to enable you to meet new people and make new friends while still allowing us to provide a personalized level of service. If the required numbers cannot be achieved, the tour may be cancelled with a minimum of 5 weeks’ notice. Customized tour groups may be arranged upon advanced request.
Most airlines allow you to check your bike in as oversized luggage for a fee, please visit your airline’s website for details. As for how to transport your bike within Taiwan, please contact us and we will be more than happy to discuss the details with you.
Please feel free to speak to us if you have non-riding friends or partners. We will do our best to offer some non-biking activities to suit your needs, which may include, but are not limited to, spas, massages, shopping, sight-seeing, and etc.
